Freeing Kannagi:Crazy Shrine Maidens-Zange-chan 1/8 PVC Figure

GSC has announced on their webpage that Freeing will be releasing 2 PVC figures in August of this year (2009). One of which will be a 1/8 scale PVC figure of Zange-chan from the Kannagi:Crazy Shrine Maidens manga/anime.

I confess i didn't read the manga nor watch the anime so I am suitable detached about this figure. Zange-chan does't appeal to me much as I usually go for either huge weapons or elaborate detailed costumes with nice color schemes. However I understand that being a nun she wouldn't be wearing garish colors (at least for this anime accurate version). Further to that, her relaxed sitting down pose just doesn't gel with the rest of my collection.

Summary, nothing against the figure but its just not for me. Fans of the show may consider it though.

If you like it, you can get yours HERE at PlayAsia. They ship internationally.

Following in her sister's footsteps, the beautiful Zange-chan from the popular "Kannagi", is also on her way as a 1/8 scale PVC figure.
Also a goddess, Zange-chan inhabits the body of the shy Hakua Suzushiro, and even has a fanclub created around her as a 'local idol'.

Similar to Nagi, Zange-chan has been sculpted using the illustration from the front cover of the second volume of the manga as a basis. As she stares up from her seated pose, her beautiful legs and charming stare are bound to mezmerize whoever gazes in her direction.
