Nendoroid Imoko Shishido Maidroid Ver.

Another new nendoriod to be released this year. Although it cute in the usual nendoroid way, at first glance this particular nendoroid did not appeal to me though as I find the colors dull and the maid outfit uninteresting. HOWEVER, this nendoroid has a extra feature!!The head opens up to reveal a smaller figure inside... Think i will get this just because of this feature.

Hot from the Macross Akiba Event 2009 taking place at the UDX Akiba Square in Akihabara Tokyo is this abosolutely stunning Yamato Transformable 1/2000 SDF-1 Macross. At 60cm (2-feet), the prototype shown was a monster..

This may become the wet dream... Holy Grail of all Macross fans once it is released. Scheduled to be released Spring 2010.. Price??? Not announced yet.. :P

Bandai Soul of Chogokin GX-24N Tetsujin 28 Naked Color Ver

Bandai is going to release this special limited version of Tetsujin at this year's Tamashii Nation 2009.SOC GX-24N Tetsujin 28 Naked Color Ver. retail price is pegged at 6000Yen(~SGD$97). However as due to this being exclusive to Tamashii Nation show, expect you pay up to 3 times of that price if local shops decide to bring it in.Alternatively you can fly over to attend the Tamashii Nation show which will be held 26 Mar 2009-29Mar09 at Toyko-AKIBA SQUARE :)

I think the chrome look really makes Tetsujin look more badass and "fierce".
Worth getting if the price is right.

Orchidseed Mechanic Nurse Nana 1/8 PVC Figure

Heres another wonderful example of combining everyones favourite genres, Mecha and Sexy Girls :) Combining a nurse outfit with mecha components is a stroke of genius!
This PVC figure is scheduled to be released 25 May 09 and will be retailing for 9800Yen(~SGD$160). The figure will stand at 26cm (including backpack).
Nicely detailed with features like "red liquid" in the injection gun,articulation for the "wings" of the backpack, this will appeal to both bishoujo and mecha lovers.
For those of you who like that something "extra", this IS a Cast-off figure. So you will be able to view her naughty bits if you are into that kind of thing. In my opinion though, she does look better with her kit ON.

First up, we have everybody's favourite "Godly"jap schoolgirl Haruhi Suzumiya(Summer Clothes ver).
I like this version. It has lots of accesories and the sculpt for figma is great as always.

Makina Hohimura

Next up is Mikina Hohimura from the Shikabane Hime anime. I have never watched this anime so I have no funny quips about this figure
