GSC Canaan - Alphard 1/8 PVC Figure

To be released March 2010 is Canaan's nemesis, Alphard Alshua. The series' most prominent villain, Alphard is the leader of the terrorist organization, Snake. Once Siam's apprentice and known as Canaan, she has since thrown away the identity, adopted the current name, and eventually had Siam killed. She appears easily capable of taking down Canaan even though the latter uses her synesthesia, reasoning that she is no longer manipulated by feelings unlike Canaan.

This PVC figure from Goodsmile Company stands at 20cm tall and has Alphard in an action pose wielding her FN Five-seveN USG sidearm. The sculpt is very nice and you can even see the abdominal muscles (envious.. ) that Alphard has.... the facial expresssion is really spot on capturing that sly, evil, demented smile perfectly. Colors are muted but this is in line with the anime although because of this the shading doesn't show up too good. A diorama base similar to the one with the Canaan figure is included, though to me it just looks like a dirt ground with a few rocks :P

I actually like this PVC figure more then the nendoroid version and that seldom happens.
This figure would look great displayed alongside Canaan or it can also stand alone as a stunning piece.
